Zikodrive is an innovative and growing UK engineering company specialising in motor control electronics. We design, develop, and manufacture bespoke motor controller systems for a wide range of industries—from laboratory automation to precision industrial machinery.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain our ISO-9001 accreditation across the company
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation from documentation to delivery
  • Implement, audit and develop quality processes across engineering, production and other business areas
  • Ensure our systems support both customer needs and regulatory compliance efficiently and effectively
  • Manage NCRs, root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Monitor and report on KPIs related to quality performance
  • Liaise with customers and customers on quality- related matters when needed
  • Develop and deliver quality training and onboarding training for staff
  • Identify wider opportunities for improvement (for example, in IT or facilities provision) and work with management team to cost and implement

Must Have

  • Experience in implementing, managing or co-ordinating ISO-9001:2015 systems, having a developed understanding of what the standard involves and the core principles
  • A minimum of three years' experience working in a role which involved quality - this role is therefore unsuitable for a recent graduate looking for their first job
  • Strong documentation, process control and internal auditing skills
  • Excellent communication skills - able to work across different departments and bring others along even where there may be some initial resistance
  • Self- starter with with initiative, attention for detail and a passion for quality
  • An abundance of motivation, enthusiasm and creativity to develop innovative, tailored solutions to any issues that arise
  • If you have experience with a specific quality management standard tied to a particular industry, the role could be for you. However, we would emphasise that the requirement here is not prescriptive and will require someone with a broader experience and outlook

Nice to have

  • Auditor training or lead auditor qualification (internal or external)
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing (LS6) or continuous improvement tools (for example, 5 Whys, FMEA)
  • Familiarity with CE/UKCA marking or other regulatory frameworks
  • Knowledge of supply chain or procurement quality would be a bonus
