Welder / Light Fabricator

Our Client, Davin Industries is looking for an experienced Welder / Light Fabricator to join their growing team in Christchurch.
 
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of fabrication projects, including specialized military products, within a well-established and innovative manufacturing environment.
We are seeking someone with strong welding and fabrication experience who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working within a supportive team.

What You'll Be Doing

• Light fabrication and welding work across a range of products
• Working with:
  • Duplex steel up to 6mm
  • Aluminium up to 6mm
  • Stainless steel up to 3mm
• Reading and interpreting drawings
• Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards
• Collaborating with the wider production team

What We're Looking For

• Previous welding and fabrication experience
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship
• Reliable with a positive attitude
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Strong Mig and Tig welding experience

Welding certificates are advantageous, however for the right applicant Davin can support and assist with obtaining certifications.

• Monday-Friday day shift | 7:30am-3:40pm
