¨ Willingness to work outside of normal hours during shutdowns, holidays, or in emergency situations in line with company call-out policies. ¨ Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS & COMPETENCIES ¨ GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent) in Math’s, English and Science. ¨ HNC/HND in electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent vocational qualification. ¨ City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Maintenance. ¨ 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) SKILLS & COMPETENCIES EXPERIENCE ¨ Electrical fault finding and root cause analysis. ¨ Reading and interpreting electrical and engineering drawings. ¨ Experience working with PLC’s, sensors, drives, motors, and safety systems. ¨ Basic mechanical skills (e.g. fitting, welding, fabrication). ¨ Strong planning, organization, and communication skills. ¨ Proactive, team-oriented and committed to high standards of work. EXPERIENCE ¨ Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment. ¨ Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication systems. ¨ Competence in both preventative and reactive maintenance tasks. |
