Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Synergi is recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join one of the leading Manufacturer based in the Tilbury area. This is an opportunity to join an exciting company. The successful Mechanical Maintenance Engineer would be joining an experienced team with a vast amount of industry knowledge.

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will ensure the efficient and reliable operation of plant and equipment by performing a wide range of repair, maintenance and improvement tasks to maximise productivity.

The role is crucial to ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting production efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Roles & Responsibilities as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

• Comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental Procedures and legislation
• Development of preventative maintenance, effective implementation and evaluation of such systems.
• Maintenance, inspections and lubrication of all plant and process equipment.
• Read and create technical plans and drawings to assist with reactive and preventative maintenance.
• Carry out welding and fabrication works as required.
  
  
• The Ideal background of a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer:
• FMCG/Food manufacturing experience essential
• Fault finding and problem solving concerning pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and PLC equipment.
• Experience with welding and facbrication
• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
