Framfield House Surgery are looking to recruit a practice patient and operations manager to join our expanding, friendly and supportive team in the Suffolk market town of Woodbridge based on the River Deben.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Management of daily operations of the surgery
- Adopt a strategic approach to the development, delivery and management of patient services
- Oversee and manage our appointments system
- Support the staff in the daily running of the surgery
- Work in collaboration with our Primary Care Network
- Monitor and help support the delivery of QOF
- Ensure the patients have a positive experience
- Estate management
- Health and safety lead
- Deal with practice complaints and learning events
- Liaise with external users of our building
- Assist the business and finance manager in compliance with CQC and NHS contractual obligations
- Support HR partner with HR with further support if required by HR consultants
About the Candidate
If you are an experienced senior manager looking for a new challenge, then we would love to hear from you.
- Operational or practice management experience in primary care preferred but not essential
- Confident leader with excellent communication and organisational skills
- Familiarity with SystmOne desired but not essential
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Self motivated with a forward thinking, solution-focused approach
- Ability to develop, implement and embed policies, procedures and guidelines
- Ability to cope with working in an ever-evolving environment and able to cope with regular changes to way of working
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to train staff
