Senior Director, Process Engineering, Automation & Technical Systems – Europe

We’re looking for an experienced and influential engineering and automation leader to shape CHEP’s technical strategy across our European Supply Chain. This is a high impact role responsible for driving the transition from manual operations to the Plant of the Future, delivering tangible improvements in safety, reliability (MTBF), cost, and performance at scale.
You’ll partner closely with the SVP Supply Chain Europe and senior operational leaders and lead the annual CAPEX portfolio for a highly skilled engineering organisation across multiple countries and plant types.

What You’ll Lead & Deliver
What You’ll Bring
Senior leadership experience in Process Engineering, Automation or Technical Operations in industrial, manufacturing or supply chain environments.
Proven delivery of largescale automation and capital programmes across multisite networks.
Strong background in reliability engineering and operational performance improvement.
Experience influencing senior stakeholders in matrixed, international organisations.
Commercial, pragmatic mindset with strong capital governance and financial discipline.
Clear communicator, change-ready leader and visible champion of Zero Harm.
Qualifications
Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Structural or related Engineering discipline.
Desirable: MBA or equivalent experience; Lean / Six Sigma certification.
Languages: English essential; additional European language desirable.
