Job Description

Kanadevia Inova is seeking a Commissioning Maintenance Engineer to join our Commissioning team at our Riverside Energy Recovery Facility located in North Belevedere.

This opportunity is offered on a contractor basis.

Start Date; 01.12.2025

End Date; 01.04.2026

Key Responsibilities

Ensures works within area of responsibility are executed in accordance with contract requirements, and conform with project time, budget and Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) requirements

Supports the commissioning team in all mechanical issues (filter cleaning and exchange, dismount pumps, etc.)

Reports any variations and issues to the Commissioning Manager

Maintains all mechanical tools in a clean state and ready to use

Liaises and coordinates with other project team members, in particular the Commissioning Manager, Commissioning Lead Engineers and Operations personnel

Review and implement maintenance routines and schedules as per supplier OM and plant maintenance and preservation requirements

Ensures routines are maintained and recorded on the plant management systems i.e. PAMELA and or CMMS etc

Plan and undertake scheduled maintenance as per manufacturers and HZI requirements and documentation – this includes manpower, plant, material, consumables, spare parts etc required to successfully complete maintenance

Diagnosing faults on plant and equipment and implementing appropriate action in co-ordination with the commissioning manager and or engineers or shift personnel

Carry out required maintenance tasks in the field and record completion of maintenance tasks in shift books, produce activity progress report on regular basis as required by Commissioning manager

Collect samples as required by the commissioning manager or lead engineer i.e. water, oil, waste, IBA etc

Qualifications

Mid-level experience in mechanical maintenance, commissioning, or industrial plant operations.

Demonstrable experience in a maintenance role in Energy from waste, Power Plants and or other heavy industry setting

Strong understanding of mechanical systems, pumps, filters, and rotating equipment.

Knowledge of relevant HSEQ legal and management system requirements

Valid Safety Contractors Certificate (SCC), Safepass (ROI), CSCS or CCNSG card or equivalent

Good communicator and can present ideas effectively

Ability to work alone and part of a team

Flexibility, ability to travel and work shift pattern or site hours

Manage Client & Stakeholder interface

Additional Information

Daily rate; circa £500-550

Start Date; 01.12.2025

End Date; 01.04.2026
