Job Description
The Maintenance Manager will provide leadership and direction for the Engineering Supervisors and Maintenance Engineers on site, create a culture of learning, provide expertise and technical support to improve the reliability of systems, plant and equipment at our Cleckheaton site.
Leadership, management, and development of the engineering supervisors
Ownership of the Engineering KPI's and stats pack, downtime, ppm, corrective and improvement records, revenue cost of asset level
Working with the Reliability Engineer and Maintenance planner to manage the PPM schedules to improve reliability
Analysis of downtime reports, carry out TOP 3 reviews daily, weekly monthly, annual by area and action corrective remedial and improvement through the maintenance teams
Maintaining liaison with outside contractors, suppliers, and representatives of other companies on matters as general maintenance as well as compliance with standards, specifications and regulation's
Deliver the maintenance KPIs for revenue spend, downtime, PPM, corrective and improvement planned work.
Site Asset register through the CMMS updated and maintained.
Service contracts delivered OTIF with no site compliance issues.
Produce a daily, weekly, monthly report using the stats pack.
Maintain and improve compliance.
Set and drive standards and targets for health and safety performance, proactively addressing unsafe plant, equipment, and activities.
Build reduction of energy and water use, noise pollution and CO2 emissions into projects at concept stage
Ensure the compliance, competitive advantage, and legality of the site with regards to Food Safety and Culture · Ensure a customer focus mindset is maintained.
Ensure suitable capability is developed across product quality and standards.
Actively participate in Quality and Food Safety Audits as required
Qualifications
Full time served apprenticeship minimum NVQ level 3.
Working knowledge of CMMS
Demonstrated knowledge of understanding areas of quality control, health, safety, environment, and effective cost management
Strong IT skills (MS Office)
Ability to engage front line Engineers and mobilize teams in pursuit of common goals.
Ability to influence cross functional working across teams/sites.
Excellent organisational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
