Job Description

Lead the Maintenance function at the Hotel providing both, a reactive and proactive multi-skilled service on all operational equipment and hotels’ infrastructure.

· Responsible for planned scheduling creation and overseeing the adherence and timely completion of work carried out.

· Increase the site operational effectiveness, improve on project delivery, reduce equipment failure room downtime

· Manage and implement improvement plans, driving Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to.

· Implement and manage continuous improvement of maintenance services by highlighting recommending changes where necessary.

· Ensure maintenance is completed with effective use of resources

· Identification of potential lifecycle deficiencies, produce capital budgets to match lifecycle expectancies

· Act as the lead operational facilities manager providing a link between hotel, Manager, Regional Technical and UK Technical Services

Be the main point of contact for maintenance emergencies outside normal working hours for urgent issues, including attending the hotel when required.

This role is critical to ensuring a high-quality guest experience, maintaining the hotel's reputation, and protecting its physical assets.

Qualifications

A little more information:

Formal Qualification in Mechanical, HVAC or Electrical

Good written and verbal communication skills (English)

Basic knowledge of Microsoft tools & outlook

3 years hotel maintenance experience

H&S trained (IBOSH) Ability to read & write risk assessments

Energy management

Desired: Budget planning CAPX & OPEX cost controls

Must:

Hands on practice basic plumbing knowledge,

Fixing bathroom leaks,

Changing flush tanks,

Changing toilet bowls

Electrical knowledge

Painting and decoration skills.
